Ann Kamps and Dr. Chad Rodgers were recognized April 10 as champions for their work in early childhood education. The duo were honored by HIPPY USA. The acronym stands for Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters. The program is designed to help parents prepare their 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds for success in school and beyond. The event was at the Next Level Events center.
