Little Rock mayor using police security detail, authorities say

I’m more than a little torn on this development. If there were credible threats made against him, then it would be difficult to argue. Since that doesn’t sound as if it’s the case, it seems to fly in the face of his claims that LR is a safe city. If it’s safe, why does he need a detail. I would guess it’s precisely because Blackshire’s supporters have said they will protest at Scott’s and Jegely’s residences. What next? Detail for his kids and wife? I guess his ‘faith’ is no armor after all.

Groups criticize Arkansas college for honoring former professor, claim he denied Holocaust

The fact the ADL can’t provide specific examples supporting their claims or antisemitism seems to prove they’re just dogwhistling to their Zionist supporters.

Judge calls former Arkansas youth jailer's actions 'sadistic,' gives her more prison than recommended

Kendrick is a monster. Maybe Trump will pardon her and recruit her to run border security since she sounds ideally qualified according to his standards. Sounds like she’d have no issue throwing kids in cages or down wells or into the Rio Grande.

And those new jobs - if they ever materialize - and those who populate them, should they reside outside LR proper, will not appreciate animalistic disgusting neighbors who pee from their porches.

I couldn’t give a rat’s @ss about MS, KKK. My comments are specific to LR, AR. Keep up or sign off. Neither AR or LR is attracting jobs, resulting in lost revenue. If we ever do attract jobs to LR, chances are, employees of those companies will not all reside in LR proper. They will reside is places perhaps a 60min or longer commute from the city. That means those cities will be LR suburbs. It won’t matter how others - even longtime residents - define them. They will be redefined as LR suburbs. Not to worry. AR is a shltty business environment so LR or it’s ‘suburbs’ are in no danger of attracting new employees.

The point is, if LR is ever going to attract the jobs we wish to attract, the reality is that employees in those jobs will, in may cases, reside outside LR. How is that any different than LRPD employees? Commutes will easily be 60mins or even longer for employees who settle outside LR but work there. Those won’t be commutes from ‘the country.’ They’ll be commutes from LR suburbs.
