Well isn't that special.
By de facto the Senate just gave anyone and everyone, any time night or day, the legal right to search your property with a camera attached to a drone.
As long as the drone user is not seeking sexual gratification the Senate just gave the user the right to search and photograph your property any time.
Looking for something to steal. Now they can legally search without setting foot on your property and determine the best way in and out.
Now I hope the Senate has a reasonable explanation for this BONE HEAD decision.
Try to imagine a drone hovering over your house filming you legally.
You shoot it down, you break the law.
Try to imagine a pet thief's drone hovering over your home looking for a dog to steal.
Try to imagine a drone user filming your property and posting pictures of your place online with your address for the whole world to view.
The potential for abuse is darn near unlimited.
How about a kidnapper looking for kids. Or a rapist looking at your daughter.
Oh its okay, they were just legally looking.
I think the senate should be brought to task for allowing this to legally take place.
In today's world any and all of the above are just as likely to happen than not, to someone if not you.
I have already emailed my State Senator asking why they voted to pass this insane law.
I am awaiting a reply.
Their reply is going to go online and if possible I will make this a national issue.
Headline: Arkansas passes law allowing drones to search property anytime day or night, no permission needed.
What do you think?
