Patience necessary as Hogs continue to improve

Our record doesn’t bother me one bit. The reason is that I can see this team coming together and how well coached they are. Last year everyone just lost hope. This year the fans see the weekly improvement as I’m sure not many expected to be in the game at the end the way we were.

Don't assume quick fix in Morris' first year

The only useful info here is that Morris will tweak his offense for the personnel he has. The rest of all that foundation talk we’ve heard before when Bielema first came. This piece comes off making you look like the head apologist - a man who can’t handle a tweet by the President.

Vols, Hogs tote strong resumes

To call Kentucky’s win over Louisville a “statement” victory, especially in light of the FBI probe and subsequent scandal that has completely rocked the Louisville program and sent Rick Pitino home, is completely far fetched, untruthful, and based on Louisville’s performance from previous years.

Transparency lacking in UA sports spending

This column reads more like a sportswriter completely frustrated with the FOI laws as it pertains to the Razorback Foundation. Quite frankly, I don’t care about the details. Somebody determined we could afford it and a change was needed. Attendance proved that. This is over 120M a year business. Details aren’t going to change a thing.

8 UA football assistants fired; Chavis in running

Whoever coach hires is fine by me. I have no doubt he knows better than I. Chavis brings instant respect and experience and he was very recently the DC treasure of the SEC. He is 61 years old now and how does that fit with the rest of his staff which appears quite young? Exciting times!

New top Hog is Morris of SMU

For a coaching change that started out looking like more of something related to Tennessee with everyone upset with Steinmetz and Peoples, I applaud the UA administration in getting this process on a good track and seeing it through to a successful ending. I never understood the Malzahn thing - wanted to believe it - just couldn’t. You don’t go from Auburn to Arkansas. I think we wasted some very valuable recruiting time on Gus but Chad is an excellent choice and as fast as he goes he can probably make up the time. Great hire!!!

WALLY HALL: Steinmetz, Cromer Peoples causes for concern

Thank you for saying what many of us are thinking. Since they seem to be in firing mode on the hill I’d like to include both Steinmetz and Peoples.

Bulldogs score twice in final 4 minutes to escape Hogs' upset bid

If I were on the Board of Trustees, I’d take out Jeff Long’s boss too. How do you let things get this screwed up if it is your job to monitor it?
