It was a great country! YEA ! When people left because the king was telling them how they were to believe by court order! YEA!

And since you are they purveyor of morals, what is your standard? A vote, or what you think is right, or is it a scientist whose opinion changes tomorrow. And doesn't it feel good to have examples like Josh D. and Palin to be able to use to show how righteous you are comparatively!! If only everyone would see it your way, what a perfect society we would have! Of course, when someone of your belief does something wrong, was it really wrong? How convenient for you.

Populist mom, when they want to marry your children because that is their "preference, and how God made them", you will want someone to stand with you then. Oh, but don't worry, you wont be around by that time! Its good to be so progressive and open minded that we don't have any convictions except the flavor of the day! Very hip indeed!

She had the job first. Are Christians not allowed in political positions? Separation of church and state was designed to protect our faith from the government not to keep us from it. That's why there are a few that get so angry about our government buildings, currency, etc. alluding to a country under God. Because at one time, our country was designed for people of faith having the opportunity to be involved in government without government involved in our worship.

Kentucky clerk to be jailed; 5 deputies agree to issue licenses

So what we are saying in America is if we run for an office as a Christian, our beliefs have to be abandoned. (Never had to before) Would it not be consistent to be able to state our beliefs and if you don't want to vote for us because of that, then don't vote for us? This situation says that a Christian that has convictions of this sort can never have this office. What office is next? In a democracy, we are allowed a voice. You might not agree with it, but you have a voice. I guess that we have digressed enough to where a minority lifestyle can squelch the voice of others to insure they have it their way. Why cant there be other avenues for the licensing, if the person does not agree with the action? (The answer is "because they are a Christian." ) Many of you are obviously perfectly fine with this discriminatory act. What a bunch of hypocrites! (I'm sorry, that was not Christian, according to what you say the definition of a Christian is!) Kharma, she is stupid because she doesn't think you like you? You must be a racist against her kind. But that is ok, because you say so! When other sexual preferences start demanding their rights too, like sex with children, many of you will be right there fighting for them too. You may say that is ridiculous, but that is your thought pattern. (This is how they are designed, you say. So ......)
