Jimmy Carter: Trump is president because of Russian meddling

Hey ERMAL, Carter did NOT say that Russia interfered in the election, he said that the Russian interference in the election caused Trump to win the election when otherwise he did not. This is a big difference. ERMAL, either your logic is faulty or you blatantly misrepresented what Carter said. And Carter may well believe that Russia interfered, but there is no way that anyone could rationally say that such interference handed the election to Trump. That is irresponsible of Carter to say such a thing, but not unexpected. Although he is a fine and decent human being, he is an inept idiot.

JOHN BRUMMETT: A cancer on the court

You have publicly and in a professional manner called a United States Supreme Court Nominee a sex offender without knowing the facts of the case and without legally proven status as a sex offender. That is beyond what is acceptable of an intelligent man and a respected journalist, and could be construed as libel at worst, and bad joirnalism at best. Think about your words; think about a career spent doing what Kavanaugh thought was best, despite the political leanings diametrically opposed to yours, and do the right thng. Post a retraction.

Omaha booked: Hogs secure trip to College World Series in offensive show

Congratulations! Lots of people excited! And old rival Texas up next in the CWS! I don't want to tell our great coach what to do, but if Kody Clemens flashed the hook 'em horns at my team while rounding the bases on a dinger, he'd just do it once!

Trump says Second Amendment won't be repealed

"The Supreme Court ruled in 2008 that the Second Amendment lets people own guns for self-defense."
-This statement is wholly inaccurate. Heller affirmed that the right to bear arms is, in addition to a collective right, an individual right. The right to self-defense against a tyrannical government has never been in question.

Spanberger's blast the difference as Hogs sweep Memphis

Breaking up a no hitter with a bunt for a hit is one of the cardinal sins of baseball, Chris Carrier. Until you publicly apologize for this you will be ridiculed until the day you die. That is disrespectful to the game. You have shamed your team and the game itself. I hope your coach sits your arse until you realize your mistake. And if your coach called for the bnt, he should be fired for disrespecting the game. -Adam Gray, MD

Two bills on to-do list, lawmakers await call

Tip for ya . . . Word on the street is that Centene's parent political organization bought the privilege of allowing John Burris to write this legislation. Has his name all over it. Literally.

Governor touts hiring firms to cut wait lists

In addition, the Arkansas Constitution states that lawmakers may extend the special session, after the Governors business has been completed, with the consent of two-thirds of the Senators and Representatives in total, and NOT two-thirds of each the House and the Senate, in order to take up unrelated business. I hope the Governors friends in the business of managed care are worth all he is going through for them, because this well likely cost him the governorship. Right now they are simply making him look like a fool.
