Free speech must be protected in America. That's why we have a First Amendment. But, that same free speech allows people to lie 8700 times in public (WaPo), call the truth "fake news" everyday, and say Saturday Night Live needs to be "looked in to" because they parody him. How ironic: The First Amendment needs protection only when the speech you want to hear needs more support. Still, it's reasonable to use threat of removal of federal funds to protect free speech, all speech, conservatives, neo-Nazis, liberals, and socialists.
