Democrat-Gazette out to shift print readers to digital by '20

I too am resistant to change. I accept it though and will stick with the ADG and the changes just like I would do for a friend or family member going through difficult times. Costs of everything is climbing and we must make adjustments for those things we find necessary in life. Mr. Hussman, please continue to find a way to maintain or possibly increase investigative reporting and watchdog journalism. We have appreciated all the important stories found only in the ADG and shudder to think about what people will attempt without knowing credible sources are watching nearby. Come on all you readers out there, a loved family member needs our support...

4-year-old boy killed in apparent accidental shooting in Little Rock, police say

No such thing as an "accidental" discharge. All are "negligent".

Police: Woman, 66, shoved to ground, robbed of walker and purse outside Little Rock grocery store

Everyone needs to remember that the food chain inverts after dark.

More than 13 pounds of medical marijuana sold in state after 2 dispensaries open

Thanks for the chuckles. Now every time I see the line outside the door I will picture each standing there with a bologna sandwich in their hand and boogying to "Rappers Delight"

Patients’ wait for medical marijuana over in Arkansas; weather dreary but crowd excited as legal sales start

I was also wondering if all of the parking spaces at the dispensaries are designated "handicap accessible" and marked according to state statutes.

Arkansas lawmakers write in to correct record; letters to chambers explain how clumsy fingers, distractions led to vote errors

As our friend Bugs Bunny said, what a bunch of maroons...Many were not in their chairs to vote, when they were, they pushed the wrong button, some on multiple occasions. When some were not even in the building someone else voted on their machine. Then, on top of it, they submitted letters to publicize their lack of dexterity or attempt to change their vote possibly due to pressure or to correct their vote to go along with the "popular vote". Jeez, keep voting these in to represent you and see where we end up.

Rebel Kettle sets rules for children; underage patrons must be supervised, diapers must be changed in bathroom, brewery says

Now they have to depend on the parent to read the sign.
Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?

Charges: Arkansas woman accused of whipping child with extension cable

Nothing new here. How many of you out there of a certain age not been "whipped" with something unusual? Richard Pryor used to joke about being whipped with a douche bag hose by his grandma. Wooden spoon anyone? I have to admit that the face as a target and the biting are a bit of a concern.

State Hospital therapist given probation for taking off with patient

Wrong on so many counts where do you start. No one seems to be held accountable for their actions, and dropping multiple FELONY charges makes me want to spit. What concerns me the most is that they were in possession of a stolen gun when arrested, which was one of the felonies dropped. This is a perfect example of people crying for more gun laws and the ones on the books not being enforced.

Killer of tourist admits to drug dealing

Has anyone else noticed how often "Motel 6 on West Markham Street" shows up in the crime reports? If you look at the area surrounding it, notice the amount of litter in the area that may be connected to it. I still think that this would be "low hanging fruit" for someone who wanted to address the crime in Little Rock. I would like to see the new mayor and police chief stop by, introduce themselves to management, and have a late evening cup of coffee on a regular basis and see what happens.
