The Baum Gallery of Fine Art at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway announces the fall exhibits and events that will begin with opening receptions on Thursday, September 10, from 4-6pm, and on Sunday, September 13, from 2-4pm, in the Fireplace Room adjacent to the gallery in McCastlain Hall. On view from September 10 through October 29, 2009, the Fall Season of Exhibitions includes: Cardinal Points/Puntos Cardinales: A Survey of Contemporary Latino and Latin American Art from the Spring Nextel Collection, organized for tour by Exhibits USA/Mid-America Arts Alliance, Pre-Columbian Artifacts: UCA's Riddick Collection, an "open storage" exhibit of historic vessels, masks and figures representing over a dozen geographic regions in Mexico Function PLUS: Contemporary Teapots, an exhibit of fine craft selections from the Arkansas Arts Center Foundation Collection
