## December 17 — Winter Poker Classic Finals at Oaklawn Racing and Gaming. Finals of tournament in which nine players compete in a month-long competition for a guaranteed pot of $3,000. This is the biggest poker event ever held in Central Arkansas. Call Terry Wallace, 501-623-4411.
## December 18 — The Game at Summit Arena. Heated rivals Lakeside Rams and Lake Hamilton Wolves square off in the seventh annual renewal of this basketball showdown. Starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 each and are available only through the two schools. Call Steve Arrison at 501-321-2027.
## December 28 – 30 — Spa City Shootout at Summit Arena. This annual high school basketball tournament features eight girl's and eight boy's teams competing for the tournament crown. Call Steve Arrison, 501-321-2027.
