S Hogs’ Fortson named SEC player of week

Arkansas sophomore guard Courtney Fortson has been named SEC player of the week after averaging 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists in the Razorbacks’ victories over Georgia and Auburn which propelled them into first place in the SEC West. Fortson is averaging 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals in nine games since returning from a suspension. Fortson was named SEC player of the week once last season.
