October 3 will be a full day of fun and excitement in the Scott/Keo area with four separate events celebrating the coming of fall. J&P Ranch Hayrides' fall season begins this weekend, which runs through Nov. 1. The large farm has a picnic area, a petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch in season. Activities for children, horseback rides, and hayrides are also scheduled. Open on weekdays by appointment and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $4.
