LAKE CATHERINE STATE PARK TO HOLD DUCTH OVEN WORKSHOP
Cooking in a Dutch oven is a long standing tradition in state parks. Come to this workshop to learn the history of Dutch ovens and instructions on seasoning and caring for your oven. You will enjoy a hands-on experience in preparing a meal from start to finish. The fee includes a Dutch oven, recipe booklet and meal. Space is limited, so register early. The cost is $45. The workshop will be held on October 18, 2009 at the Lake Catherine State Park Picnic Pavilion from 11-2.
