Humane Society of Pulaski County Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Shelter Building
(July 15, 2010 -- Little Rock, AR) A Birthday Party will be held on Sunday, August 1 from 1-3 pm in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the new shelter building of the Humane Society of Pulaski County at 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock.
"It was ten years ago, that supporters and staff of the HSPC opened it's doors to the new building that houses hundreds of abandoned and abused animals in central Arkansas," said Lyn Owens.
The public is invited to enjoy refreshments and a tour of the facilities. Party-goers are encouraged to bring their adopted pets and have their pictures made for a special memories board. All pets must be current on vaccinations. And if possible participants are requested to bring a toy for a dog or cat. For more information, call Lyn Owens at 912-7064.
