A Tea for All Seasons at Historic Washington Sundry Teas Offer Memorable Views of Washington Pamper yourself with a spot of tea and dainty morsels. Become acquainted with selected Washington sites up-close and personal. Savor gentle moments as Historic Washington introduces the first in a series of Four Seasons Teas. Delight yourself with a time created to strike just the fancy of women. The Seasons Teas commence on Saturday, June 27th at Williams' Tavern Restaurant. Escape the monotony. Bring a friend and enjoy a party. Nostalgia and the gardens of Washington go hand in hand. The Summer Season Tea, June 27th allows guests to recall favorite memories they associate with the gardens of their past as they visit the gardens of the Sanders Farmstead and the Purdom House. A colorful blossom or a sprig of greenery may evoke sweet remembrances of lessons learned or emotions felt in the experiences of enjoyment of a garden. Guests are encouraged to bring both as they attend this event. Inspiration, gardens and tea is what this Summer Season Tea is all about. Each of the Four Season Teas features distinctly unique amusement designed with women in mind. The intent of the series is to provide opportunity for guests to become more familiar with Washington, to expose them to the enjoyment that comes from taking tea and to provide a much deserved break for women of today. Each Tea will be presented in a different location, with a different menu and a two site tour. Tour sites will vary with each tea. The designated dates for the Teas are June 27, September 19, January 16 and April 17. Saturdays are the appointed times for each of the Four Seasons Teas. The June and April Teas are evening events scheduled from 6 to 9 pm, while the September and January Teas are afternoon events from 2 to 4 pm. Ladies who are interested in attending all four Teas may purchase a membership for the reduced fee of $70. This reduced fee is available in June only and is non-refundable. If purchased separately, the cost for each of the Teas is $20. Reservations for the June 27th Tea must be made no later than June 25th. Attendance requires a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24.
