Lake Chicot State Park to host two weekends of bird watching
During winter, Lake Chicot State Park in Lake Village becomes home to mallards, teals, canvasbacks, mergansers, and ring-necked ducks. Join park staff for the Waterfowl Watch Weekend on Jan. 9-10. The weekend is dedicated to all things waterfowl, including guided bird watching hikes, lake tours, land tours, and birding programs. On Jan. 16-17 the park will host a Raptor Watch Weekend.
