Hot Springs Village Concerts Association Opens Season with Daniel Rodriguez, Singing Policeman of 9-11 "Daniel Rodriguez was born with a beautiful tenor voice. His success is a source of great joy to me because he truly deserves it." --Placido Domingo September 8-11 are the performance dates for Daniel Rodriguez, the season opener of the HSV Concerts Association. The world knows him as the tenor who lifted the spirit of America in the wake of the September 11 tragedies. Immortalized forever at that time as the "singing policeman", Daniel Rodriguez continues to uplift hearts and minds with his incredible voice and showmanship. Some of the high profile events in which Rodriguez has performed are the Olympics, the PBS Memorial Day Concert, the Tournament of Roses Parade, the 2004 Republican National Convention, President Bush's Inauguration Concert and numerous television shows such as "Oprah", "Larry King Live" and "The Late Show With David Letterman". The HSV Concerts Association board is especially pleased that Mr. Rodriguez will be here on 9-11-2009 and the preceding 3 days. His program includes a Mario Lanza segment and a theatrical salute to Broadway's best. He will then celebrate the Pride of America with patriotic music.
