Italian Sketchbooks of Ted Parkhurst
The THEA Foundation is proud to announce a preview opening of Italian Sketchbooks of Ted Parkhurst taking place at THEA Foundation Center for the Arts during Argenta’s 3rd Friday Night ArtWalk, November 19th from 5:30-8pm. Renowned artist Ted Parkhurst will be giving visitors a sneak peek at his month in Rome and France. Live local music will provide the backdrop for the opening. The opening is free and open to the public.
Ted Parkhurst is a Michigan native who has lived in Little Rock all of his adult life. Currently president of Parkhurst Brothers Publishers in Little Rock, Ted produces paintings and drawings every week. Ted will display more than thirty mounted, framable pages from the artist's October sojourn through the museums and cities of Italy. Works will be for sale at surprisingly modest prices, just in time for holiday gifting! The exhibit will be on view during regular gallery hours from November 19th to November 29th and on exhibit during ArtWalk.
A selection of George Rodrigue prints will also be on exhibit during the 3rd Friday ArtWalk.
The THEArtists Gallery/Studios will also host a meet and greet with the artists from 5:30-8pm during ArtWalk on the 2nd Floor of the THEA Foundation Center for the Arts. THEArtists welcomes the talent of Austin Grimes, Morgan Coven, Ted Parkhurst, and Robin Steves.
