Ghosts of Davidsonville Fall Festival, Oct. 9, Davidsonville Historic State Park, Pocahontas. The family-friendly festival features musical performances, carnival games, activities just for kids, the Arkansas Game and Fish mobile aquarium, carnival food and a hayride through the park’s historic town site and decorated campground. You don’t have to drive all the way to Mountain View to hear Bluegrass. Ghost of Davidsonville Fall Festival has fun activities for the entire family. Take your kids to the festival without breaking the bank!! Come check out these acts on the Pavilion 1 Stage : Band Time Buzzard Run 3:00-4:00 Hillbillies at Heart 4:30-5:30 The Down Home String Band 6:30-7:30 New Contests: Contests on Pavilion 1 Stage Time Doggie Costume Contest to benefit the Randolph County Humane Society 2:00 Kid Costume Contest (ages 5-12) 4:00 Adult Costume Contest (18 and Up) 5:30 Dog Contest for RCHS must register before the event. Call the park or RCHS for details. Prizes will be given to winners. Kid and adult contest can register before the event up to 1 hour before the contest. Call DHSP for details. Carnival games from 2-6pm. Games include toilet paper toss, the obstacle course, sack races, and more! Prizes will be given to winners! Hayride: Hayrides are a fun part of any fall festival. Join us as we take you around the historic town site to meet the Ghosts of Davidsonville. Five brand new skits this year!! Hayride starts at 7:00 pm. From U.S. Highway 63 at Black Rock, take state Highway 361. Travel 5 miles to the park.
