Mistletoe Market is On the Way!
Russellville – The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley is proud to announce "Mistletoe Market – Shop for a Cause" set for Friday and Saturday October 8 and 9, 2010 at the L.V. Williamson Boys and Girls Club, 600 E. 16th St., Russellville.
This is the third year for the event which will offer more than 50 merchants' gift items under one roof – with proceeds benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Arkansas River Valley.
"We couldn't be more excited about our third year of Mistletoe Market" said Gaye Croom, event chair.
"We had a strong turnout last year - ‐- ‐ most our fantastic merchants are returning and have spread the word to other merchants they know who will also be participating.
We believe we are going to have a great shopping event this year," she added.
Gift items and merchandise will include art, beauty products, clothing, fall and holiday items, home décor, baby items, food, jewelry, toys and other gifts of all kinds.
At the door a $5 donation is requested of all shoppers, which entitles them to a 2- ‐day shopping pass for Friday, Oct. 8, 10 am to 7 pm, and Saturday, Oct. 9, 10 am to 4 pm.
Additionally, a special "Preview Party" will be held the evening of Thursday, Oct. 7, tickets for this event are priced at $25 and include appetizers, entertainment, "first chance" shopping and the opportunity to participate in the "Dash for Cash" where lucky shoppers will win cash prizes.
Cathy Andrasik, Executive Director of The Boys and Girls Club of the Arkansas River Valley had this to say about Mistletoe Market, "We are so thrilled that local merchants are willing to come to our building and help raise money for our clubs.
We have an amazing team of volunteers putting this event together and we know it will be not only fun and great shopping, but also an important fundraiser for the kids we serve."
