Conway Dinner Theater proudly presents the Pulitzer prize-winning comedy You Can’t Take It With You, by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart, October 15, 16, 23, and 24 at the Wesley United Methodist Church (Hall), 2310 East Oak Street, Conway Arkansas..
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and adapted into an Academy Award-winning film, You Can’t Take It With You has been a crowd favorite for more than 70 years. Set during the Great Depression, the play tells the story of two very different families and their search for happiness and the elusive “American dream.” The wealthy Kirby family believes in rules, regulations, hard work, and rigid organization, while the Sycamore family celebrates personal freedom and an independent life…with a certain amount of madness. When the dashing young Tony Kirby (Greg Antley) falls in love with beautiful Alice Sycamore (Samantha White), hilarity ensues as the two families are forced to sort out their differences and determine what’s really important in life.
Director Charles Bane has put together a talented cast that includes Conway Dinner Theater favorites Jay Ruud (Harvey, A Christmas Carol), Jenny Ruud (Oliver, In Love With Broadway), Johnny Passmore (A Christmas Carol, In Love With Broadway), and Kimberley Norris (A Christmas Carol), as well as newcomers to our stage Brenda Jaynes, Sarah Johnson, John Parrack, Garry Craig Powell, and Christopher S. Thompson.

Show dates are October 15, 16, and 23 with a matinee on the 24th at the Wesley United Methodist Church (Hall), 2310 East Oak Street, Conway Arkansas. All dinners are served at 6:15 and the shows will start at 7:30 (12:15 and 1:30 on the 24th).
Tickets are $30 per person. Groups of 10-19, $28. Groups of 20 and larger, $26. Reservations are required (please call 339-7401 for tickets).
