The community is invited to a performance of Folk Mountain Gospel singing group at Crosspoint United Methodist Church on Sunday evening, October 24 beginning at 6 PM.
Folk Mountain Gospel consists of Don and Donna Mohl of Fair Grove, MO. Their unique style of music blends biblical and traditional instruments such as hammered dulcimer, bowed psaltery, zither, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, guitar and bass guitar with their voices to provide a “down-home” family oriented message of Jesus’ love and grace. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy some folk moutain music and heart-warming stories designed to encourage and inspire. A love offering will be received and CD’s, DVD’s and hand-crafted, biblical musical instruments will be available for sale after the program.
Crosspoint UMC is hosting the musical group in honor of the church’s second birthday. Cake will be provided.
Crosspoint UMC, located in the Saddletop shopping center on South Salem Road. Garrison is the church’s senior pastor. The church currently has 45 in attendance. Worship is at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays with small groups meeting at 10:00 a.m.
