Billy Wayne Davis is what you would get if Lenny Bruce, Bill Cosby and Foghorn Leghorn had a baby, only he doesn't look like some kind of horrible mutant. Originally from Nashville, TN, he has been touring all over the country for the better part of a decade, winning audiences over with a combination of humor both cutting and absurd that puts him pretty squarely into a league of his own. While it is something of a cliché to say that Billy Wayne "makes it look easy", it is hard to deny that when onstage he certainly doesn't appear to be trying very hard, and that pretty much sums up his appeal.
