The 34th annual Grand Prairie Rice Festival is scheduled for Oct. 30 in the city park in Hazen. The festival celebrates the community’s farming heritage and features an antique farm equipment parade and show, a quilt show, live music, special activities for kids, food vendors, and a mini-tractor pull.
