Center on the Square's 12th Season opening up with " Guys and Dolls"

Twelfth Season Opens August 20 “We’ve got magic to do” is the theme of Center on the Square’s upcoming 12th dinner theater season, sponsored by Chesapeake Energy, with a full line-up of enchanting entertainment for the whole family. Kicking off the season, Center on the Square, located at 111 West Arch in Searcy, will bring the magic of Broadway to audiences with the musical production of “Guys and Dolls,” August 20 – September 4. The presenting sponsor for this event is The DeVore Team ReMax Realty and associate sponsors are Liberty Bank and B&B Oil Company. “After last year, with a full line-up of large cast shows, coming right in with a musical of this size is a challenge,” said director Lana Hallmark, executive director of Center on the Square. “This production also marks a departure from how we have previously arranged our schedule by producing a musical as a dinner show. But this is one audiences truly love and we have a cast filled with wonderful, talented performers who are very excited about this project.” Performing Arts Center on the Square is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the expansion and appreciation of the performing arts in the region. Contributions are welcome and are tax-deductible. Center on the Square is supported in part by the Arkansas Arts Council, a division of the Arkansas Department of Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Center on the Square is handicapped accessible for all performances and interpretation for the deaf is available at the Thursday evening performances of the shows by request.
