Washington County Fairgrounds has been the Official Campground for the last four years. This year we are undergoing a major expansion that includes: - all barbecue competitions have been moved from Baum Stadium - live music - a beer garden - official merchandise - helicopter rides - the wall-of-death stunt team - van shuttle to Dickson Street New for 2010 Some of the new activities for the rally: - for the first time, BBB has been designated as and Official Harley Owners Group (HOG) pin stop - The Battle of the Bikes has moved to the Main Stage on Dickson Street - poker runs have new routes and new stops. Details will be out shortly. - Jeep is coming with a major exhibit. Details in the next week. Bikes, Blues & Hot Rods Too For the second year, BBB is teaming up with Bikes, Blues & Hot Rods Too to bring even more fun and excitement to the rally. Located at the Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP), at the NWA Mall, this event has lots to see and do like: a classic car show, concerts, the Gibson Guitar museum bus, Human Bowling from Fast Lane, the US Army Climbing Wall, hot rod builders and much more. Jeep Rocks & Road Tour Coming The "Jeep Rocks & Road Tour" provides the ultimate on- and off-road driving courses consisting of several obstacles that simulate some of the rigorous testing that Jeep vehicles endure. Courses include elements that demonstrate the Trail Rated capabilities of Jeep vehicles for articulation, ground clearance, maneuverability and traction. The family-friendly event also offers children the opportunity to take part in the Jeep brand experience as well. Jeep kids can drive "Power Wheels" mini-Jeep vehicles; climb a rock wall and more. This event is free and will be at the Baum Stadium parking lot Sept. 30 - Oct 2. Demo Rides Demo rides are going to be available at Baum Stadium from Harley-Davidson, Yamaha and Can-Am Spyder. Riders have to have their motorcycle endorsement, helmet, glasses and gloves to ride. Demo rides are 9am - 6pm everyday. Friday Night...Nothing But The Blues Blues, Blues, Blues. On Friday night Blues bands will be performing on both the Main Stage on Dickson Street and at Baum Stadium. Great bands like: Rich Fabec, Earl and 'Em, Oreo Blue and Cathead Biscuit. Battle of the Bikes Location Changed The Stokes Air Battle of the Bikes, sponsored by Cycle Connection Harley-Davidson/Buell, is a head-to-head bike show centered on crowd involvement to determine the winners. This year we have moved the location of the Battle of the Bikes to the Main Stage on Dickson Street. The Best in Show winner will have the honor of leading the Parade of Power on Saturday (October 2) afternoon! The American Hellriders will be performing at the Washington County Fairground bringing "The World's Steepest Racetrack." Their professional shows are aimed at the entire family and will leave them wanting more every time! Shows will be daily with times posted at their location at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Miss BBB Competition Continues The second Miss BBB preliminary continues on Thursday, September 23rd at 9:00 pm at Jose's on Dickson Street. Come by and cheer on your favorite contestant!
