Prior to the Civil War most women knew how to spin and weave to make their own clothes. Basics of Weaving introduces participants to weaving textiles on a loom. The hands-on workshop is Feb. 5-6 at Historic Washington State Park in Washington. Topics covered include the parts of the loom, how to set it up, and the three basic weaving structures.
