World Champion Fiddler, Dale Morris, Jr. will be visiting Arkansas and Oklahoma this weekend. Locations include Tulsa, Oklahoma, Hot Springs, Arkansas and Little Rock, Arkansas. "A Touch of Texas featuring the music of Dale Morris, Jr." Opening the show will be Arkansas music icons Steve and Tim Trawick. This is a rare opportunity to hear the Trawick Brothers in a public setting.
3 PM - 5 PM at Wildwood Park in Little Rock, AR
Who is Dale Morris, Jr.? Dale Morris, Jr. hails from the legendary Morris family from Texas. His Uncle, Terry Morris is hailed by many as the greatest Texas fiddler ever. Successful violinist, Mark O'Connor has listed Terry Morris as one of his fiddle heroes. Dale, Jr.'s Dad, Dale Morris is also a legendary fiddler. Dale Morris still teaches fiddle and performs regularly. Dale Morris, Jr. has played and recorded with the likes of Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Marty Stuart, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, John Mayall and Billy Bob Thornton to name a few.
