Community Theatre of Little Rock “It’s a Wonderful Life”, Adapted for the stage by James W. Rodgers. Based on the film by Frank Capra. Production dates will be November 17th, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26that 7:30 pm November 20th and 27th at 2:00 pm The saga of George Bailey, the Everyman from the small town of Bedford Falls, whose dreams of escape and adventure have been quashed by family obligation and civic duty, whose guardian angel has to descent on Christmas Eve to save him from despair and to remind him by showing him what the world would have been like had he never been born that his has been, after all, a wonderful life. Founded in 1956, the Community Theatre of Little Rock(CTLR) is Central Arkansas’s oldest and finest theater tradition. CTLR is a nonprofit, volunteer organization striving to enlighten, educate and entertain our community by providing live theatrical productions of the highest quality, as well as providing opportunities for talented people to perform and participate in all phases of producing live theater.
