THE Sweet Potato Queen Jill Conner Browne Featured at Tales from the South’s Tin Roof Project Wednesday, October 05, 2011 North Little Rock, AR. September 25, 2011—Multiple #1 New York Times® bestselling author and THE Sweet Potato Queen, Jill Conner Browne,will be the featured storyteller for a very special Tales from the South Tin Roof Project on Wednesday evening, October 05, 2011. The live taping of the radio series will be at Starving Artist Café in the Argenta Arts District, Downtown North Little Rock. Live music by The Salty Dogs. Doors open at 5pm, dinner is served 5pm-6:30pm and the show starts at 7pm. This special show will be a departure from regular Tuesday night shows, and instead will be on Wednesday night for this one show. Tales from the South features “true stories told by the Southerners who lived them,” and the Tin Roof Project is a special monthly series showcasing well-known Southerners telling their own true stories. Jill Conner Browne is “America’s #1 Humor Writer,” according to Nielsen BookScan, a retail book sales monitoring service.
