Great Events at Simon Park in Conway October 7, 8 & 9 ROAR Into Toad Suck is more than just about motorcycles & good times. ABATE 17 has teamed with the American Red Cross, Rolling Thunder and great bands to offer free family entertainment with a purpose at Simon Park. Proceeds from this rally will be shared with the Faulkner County Red Cross. Friday night after the biker parade Sonny Burgess & The Legendary Pacers will play a free concert from 6:30-8:30. Come enjoy old style rock ‘n roll music under the stars, bring a chair or blanket sit back & rock the night away at the Simon Park Stage. Saturday from 11-4 the American Red Cross Bloodmobile will be set up to take walk-in donors as well as those that have scheduled a convenient time to give. ABATE 17 has issued an open invitation to individuals & organization to give the gift of life while enjoying a day of family fun. There will also be an antique bike show, classic car show, ride in bike show, biker parade, biker games, vendors open at 8am. The Arkansas Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund will be the beneficiary of a Rolling Thunder Dice Run starting & ending at Simon Park Saturday from 10 – 2pm. A $10.00 donation will let folks to try for a total of $600.00 in guaranteed cash prizes. Simon Park Stage will be filled with live music Saturday including The Jazz Band, The One Way Road Band & other local talent finishing with a concert by Breaking Eden from 6:30-8:30. Sunday Simon Park will be the location of a biker church service at 10am with live music following, vendors open at 9am. Everyone is invited to worship “biker style” & then enjoy a relaxed afternoon of music & fun.
