Art Meets Science Through Architecture
The Arts and Science Center of Southeast Arkansas will kick off Art Meets Science Through Architecture Sat, Oct 8. It will showcase various artworks featuring such local historic buildings as the Jefferson County Courthouse and Pine Bluff Civic Center. A trolley tour has been developed to view first-hand those buildings highlighted in the exhibit.
Arkansas First Lady Ginger Beebe will be present for the ribbon cutting. The event is open to the public, and will include free refreshments, hand-on arts and science activities and music by the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff music department. Festivities will begin at 1 pm at the arts and science center located at 701 Main Street in historic downtown Pine Bluff.
