ImprovLittleRock is back--bigger, fitter, and more delicious than ever! The new season of ImprovLittleRock kicks off Saturday September 17th, at 10pm! For Season 7, we're starting with something new: Gender segregation. But in a good way.
Long gone are the days of ILR being an all-male ensemble, as the XXers have been slowly taking over. To celebrate this integration of the fairer sex, our season premiere will be divided into an ILR Doubleheader--just the ladies, then just the gents. The ILR Ladies will attempt to perform a daunting feat...a reduced version of our 20/90 format: ten short-from improv scenes in thirty minutes. It will be frantic, antic, and fantastic. The gents will then kick up the testosterone notch and present the ultra-masculine long-form musical: "Meat Me in St. Hell."
If two shows for the price of one is not enough, the Season 7 premiere also marks the return to the ILR ivories of Chad Bradford! The Rad Chad Brad will be sitting in to tickle and twinkle the night away.
Tickets are $8 at the door, and that door is programmed to receive at The PUBLIC Theatre, 616 Center Street, between 6th and 7th in downtown Little Rock. Refreshments will be available.
