Pop Wagner in Concert! Cowboy poet, musician and rope-trick master, Pop Wagner will be appearing in concert Saturday evening September 17 at Ozarka College; 1800 Ozarka College Drive, Mountain View. The concert is co-sponsored by Ozarka College and the Arkansas Craft School, and will begin at 7:00 p.m. Pop Wagner appeared frequently on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion during the show’s formative years and for the last four decades, he has worked his cowboy magic throughout 44 states and 10 countries. Appearing as special guest with Pop will be cowboy poet, musician, author and 1985 National Heritage Fellow Glenn Ohrlin. The concert will be presented in conjunction with the workshop Pop will be offering at the Arkansas Craft School September 16 - 18, ‘Weaving Mohair Cinches’. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to enjoy two genuine representatives of honest-to-goodness cowboy culture. Tickets are $5.00 at the door, and will go on sale ½ hour before the show. A special invitation goes out to all visitors who will be in town for the ‘Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour’. The Arkansas Craft School, located in Mountain View, Arkansas is dedicated to the education of aspiring and practicing craft artisans for success in the Creative Economy.
