2010 Young Artist Program
Arkansas Repertory Theatre will host audition dates for The Rep’s 2012 Summer Musical Theatre Intensive (SMTI) for ages 10- 23 on Friday, March 2 and Saturday March 3, 2012 with audition callbacks held on Sunday, March 4.
Candidates will be asked to prepare a one-minute monologue and 16 bars of a song (an accompanist will be provided) Those auditioning may also be asked to return for an additional movement and callback audition. Tuition for the program is $525. A limited number of need-based scholarships are available to those who qualify. Scholarship applications will be available at auditions.
To schedule an audition appointment, please email education@therep.org with your name, age/grade, email, phone number and mailing address and please include your preferred audition day. Audition appointments will be scheduled starting January 1, 2012. Please no phone calls, auditions appointments must be scheduled by email only.
Appointments will be scheduled between 4:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2 and between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3. Callbacks will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 4. Applicants will be notified by mail of acceptance within three weeks of auditions.
