Barbie Day
Barbie Day: The Historic Arkansas Museum will hold two events Saturday that will be in conjunction with the museum’s current Barbie: The 11 1/2-inch American Icon exhibit. Tea with Barbie will be at from 10 a.m. until noon where kids will have the opportunity to have tea and snacks while visiting with Barbie (Heather Strojek, Barbie collector whose collection is featured in the museum’s Study Gallery). For grown-ups, there will be a Vintage Barbie Show and Tell also from 10 a.m. until noon. For this gathering, there will be several collectors and their prized dolls and the opportunity to share Barbie memories. For reservations and more information, call (501) 324-9351.
