3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween!

Out of the Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas will be hosting its third annual Howl-O-Ween fundraiser event on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Dog Park in Burns Park. Tickets are $15 per person/$25 per family in advance or $20 per person/$30 per family at the door. Early registration ends Thursday, Oct. 18. Registration fee includes a wag bag filled with dog treats, coupons, vendor giveaways and an official Howl-O-Ween t-shirt. Those registering as a family will receive two event t-shirts. The day’s events will include $20 pet readings by internationally known Carol Pate of the Carol Pate Psychic Center; Your pet’s ‘paw print painting’; “Ask the Vet” with Dr. Lauren Schluterman of The Boulevard Veterinary Clinic; $20 micro-chip clinic; bobbing for duckies; dance performances by Studio One Dance troupes; and face painting by local artist Sherry Williamson of MeowBarkArt.com. Out of the Woods will also host the Bark-n-Boo Contest with a variety of categories for your dog to enter including Best Howler, Best Trick, Cutest Puppy, Most Charming Senior Dog, Best Dog/Owner Look Alike, and Most Creative Costume. Bark-n-Boo Contest Registration is not included in the event registration and must be done at the park the day of the event. Contest judging will begin at 2 p.m. so please arrive early to register. Celebrity judges are Philip Martin, Phyllis Britton, and Daniel Lily.
