The Vortex Launch Party
A launch party has been set for the 2013 edition of The Vortex, the University of Central Arkansas’s magazine of literature and fine art, on April 16 at 7 p.m. at Branch Out in Conway.
"The Vortex 39th edition is the largest Vortex to date, and there was still extremely competitive judging this year," Wilson said. "We had the highest number of submissions ever, so it was definitely hard to decide on the best in each category. I believe this may be the highest quality of art and literature ever presented by The Vortex. In one word, this book is astounding."
