Toad Suck Review Launchapalooza: The third Toad Suck Review, the literary magazine based at the University of Central Arkansas, is now on sale, and a launch event is set for Friday on the rooftop of Michaelangelo’s in downtown Conway. Michelangelo’s is located at 1117 Oak Street. The Toad Suck Review Launchapalooza, free and open to the public and recommended for mature audiences, will begin at 7 p.m. and culminate the week-long Arkatext literary festival at UCA. This issue marks a transition in the Toad’s editorial approach. The inaugural class of the Arkansas Writers MFA workshop has been mobilized as a team of assistant editors, and their involvement with the journal is injecting a new vitality into the literary culture of the region.
