PRECIPICE THEATRE: A Street Car Named Desire

PRECIPICE THEATRE: A Street Car Named Desire, a play written by Tennessee Williams, will be performed Friday through Sunday and again Jan. 25-27 at the Public Theatre in Little Rock. This landmark play, the winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1948, centers on a culture clash between Blanche DuBois, a fading, typical southern bell from the Old South and Stanley Kowalski, an up and coming member of the immigrant working class. The show will open at 7:30 p.m. Friday and continue with performances at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday along with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Tickets are $13 for adults and $10 for seniors, military and students. Reservations can be made via email to lrprecipicetheatre@gmail.com. The Public Theatre is located at 616 Center St. in downtown Little Rock.
