Learn how far a Montessori education can take your child at Arkansas River Valley Montessori's open house on Wednesday, November 13 between 8:30 and 10am at 1509 North Pierce Street in Little Rock. Parents of infants, toddlers, preschool and elementary age children are invited tour our classrooms to see the Montessori method in action. Arkansas River Valley Montessori is an independent, non-profit school founded in 2003 by Pat Bowen and Somers Piazza. Using the discoveries of Maria Montessori, ARVM's mission is to develop young people, ages 3-15, to become morally responsible, independent, self-motivated, lifelong learners. All of ARVM's teachers are certified by the Association Montessori International or The American Montessori Society. The Montessori method of education immerses students in classrooms filled with beautiful materials specific to Montessori which invite a child to discover math, language, cultural subjects and the fine arts, under the direction of a trained, Montessori certified, degreed guide. Students are active participants in their education and learn to compassionate, considerate, and helpful to others. For those interested in finding out more about the Montessori method we will answer your questions at the open house. Contact Kendall Jacobs at 501-603-0620
