Give your support to the abused and neglected children at Open Arms Shelter. Run the 5K that begins at the historic Lonoke Train Depot, winding its way by the City Park and through beautiful small-town neighborhoods. Known for its flat as a pancake course, the chipped 5K Pumpkin Run is made for setting a personal record. Add to the excitement by wearing an optional yellow flag on your waist. Snoopy and Woodstock lurk throughout the course waiting to steal your flag. Return back to the Depot to baked goods, drinks and recovery snacks. Cheer on the winners at the awards ceremony led by Matt Mosler of KARK, Andrea Sayer of Prevail Fitness and the live band New Horizon. Bring your family to the 1 Mile Family Trot where every child is a winner and gets a mini pumpkin and medal. Can’t be there or don’t want to race...be a Sprit Runner and get a t-shirt in support of the shelter. Don’t forget to shop around our pumpkin patch for locally grown pumpkins in all sizes and colors, and enjoy the little pumpkin house, decorating tips and fall festivities for the entire family. 5K Run: $20 pre-registration, $25 race day registration Spirit Runner: $20 1M Family Trot: $10 per child registration, $50 family fee cap (2 adults and kids ages 11 and under)
