Big Red Ball Homebrew Contest
Please join us on Friday, January 17 at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History for an evening of foam, food, and fun at the Big Red Ball Homebrew Contest! Doors open at 7pm. $20 gets you in the door and a special tasting glass. Or, you can go VIP for only $30 and get a LARGER and MUCH COOLER tasting glass and enter 30 minutes before everyone else ensuring that you don't have to wait in line so you can sample everything before it runs out! You can pre-purchase tickets but must be 21 years or older to attend.
If you are a homebrewer, enter your beer for the chance to be crowned "The Official Beer of Kickball" and have it brewed by the very talented guys at Stone's Throw Brewing just in time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Little Rock Kickball Association in spring 2014! That's right, your beer can win the accolades of Little Rock's kickball community and be professionally brewed for mass consumption! You can preregister and reserve your spot in this "Pro-Am" event at www.lrkickball.com. You might also consider entering the 50/50 People's Choice Contest and win a cash prize!
All proceeds from this evening will benefit Our House. Our House provides the working homeless – individuals and families – with shelter, housing, job training, education, childcare and youth programs, in order to equip them with the skills to be successful in the workforce, the community and their own families.
This event is presented by The Big Red Ball Charitable Foundation and is part of the LRKA's 20/20 Project to carry out 20 community service projects and fundraisers by spring '14 to celebrate 20 seasons of kickball in Little Rock. The BRBCF is officially recognized as a non-profit and all donations are tax deductible. Through the BRBCF, the Little Rock Kickball Association is proud to be one of the state's most dynamic and fun community service, social, and fundraising organizations proving that when you do good, good things happen.
