Arkansas Legends ProCamp

Three Arkansas natives currently playing in the NFL will put their coaching skills to work locally when the Arkansas Legends ProCamp comes to Verizon Arena in North Little Rock on Friday, July 11. The event, presented by Verizon, will host 150 kids, ages 7 to 14, from area Boys and Girls clubs and Life CHAMPS. New England Patriots tight end D.J. Williams of Little Rock, Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden of North Little Rock and New York Giants running back Peyton Hillis of Conway will teach the fundamentals of football to campers. “This camp gives children an opportunity to meet and have fun learning from some of the legendary football players from our state. Verizon’s position as the official wireless partner of the NFL allows us to bring this experience home to the Little Rock community,” said Kristi Crum, president of Verizon in Arkansas. “Meeting successful athletes who grew up in Arkansas will serve as inspiration for young Arkansans to excel in everything they do.” Spots for the Arkansas Legends ProCamp are not available for purchase since they will be filled by local charities, but Verizon is offering the public an opportunity for young players to win one of 20 available registrations. Sign up at ArkansasLegendsCamp.com before 11p.m. on Sunday, July 6. The contest rules, regulations and details can be found at ArkansasLegendsProCamp.com.
