In 1879 American artist James McNeill Whistler arrived in Italy with a commission from the Fine Arts Society of London to create twelve etchings of Venice. This exhibit showcases these works, as well as the work of his followers who were practicing in Italy in the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries. RAM members get in free, and it's only $5.00 for all others. Refreshments will be provided! We hope to see you there!
