2nd Saturday Family FunDay
ASC will host its free, monthly 2nd Saturday Family FunDay September 13th from 1–3 p.m. To coincide with the new Nanotechnology: What’s the Big Deal? exhibition from the Arkansas Discovery Network, ASC Education Coordinator Alexandra Pearson will lead 3 experiments demonstrating specialized applications of nanotechnology. Experiments will explore how sand can be coated with nanoparticles to clean oil spills, how gummy bears are made, and how DNA forms. Visitors are also invited to the Tinkering Studio to make this month’s hands-on activity. All activities are free.
