It’s a great feeling to be out on the water with Nature. Outside of those who permanently nest here, the rest of our migrating bald eagles will have returned to their homes in northern U.S. states as well as Canada. Instead of bald eagles, our attention will be drawn to new color and growth. We now notice our bluffs, glades, and lakeside cave openings. Migrating cliff swallows return. The weather is warmer, and it’s time to watch for hawks, kingfishers, and great blue herons. The perspective from a boat is like no other.
