Announcement of Spring Classes from AR Scottish Country Dance Society
The Arkansas Scottish Country Dance Society Spring Session will begin on Monday, April 20 and run on Monday evenings until June 15, 2009.
Classes will be held at Parkhill Presbyterian Church, 3520 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock.
Beginning Scottish Country Dance Class 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Intermediate Scottish Country Dance Class 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: Adults $40 and Students (age 12-18) $20.
Participants will learn basic formations and footwork for dancing traditional and modern Scottish reels, jigs and strathspeys which form the basis of Scottish ballroom dance.
No partner or previous dance experience necessary. Casual attire, soft sole shoes required.
