Coming Home: Carroll Cloar and Other Inspirations An exhibition curated by the 2009 Tabriz Curator-for-a-Day, Bobby Tucker Through November 15, 2009 Admission is Free Arkansas Arts Center One of the most coveted prizes to be won at the biennial Tabriz auction is the opportunity to curate an exhibition from the Arts Center’spermanent collection. Earlier this year, Dianne Tucker successfully bid on the Curator-for-a-Day exhibition as a gift for her husband, AAC Board Chair Bobby Tucker. The Tuckers are longtime supporters of the Arts Center and members of the Collectors Group. In addition, Tucker is an avid art collector whose primary focus is on Arkansas artist Carroll Cloar. No mere amateur, Tucker’s expertise on Cloar surpasses that of many art industry professionals. For this exhibition, Bobby Tucker worked with Curator of Drawings Phaedra Siebert to bring together a group of works that demonstrates the Curator-for-a-Day’s indelible aesthetic proclivities.
