The Bank of Fayetteville will be displaying local artist, Teresa Hall, in the Main bank lobby. The Main bank, located on the Fayetteville Square, will feature several metal collages as well as jewelry. Hall is an Arkansas native who grew up in North Little Rock and graduated in 1978. Shortly thereafter, she traveled around to such cities as New York City, Santa Fe, Los Angeles, Miami and Detroit, and was fortunate enough to study at various universities along the way. Hall completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. During the 1990’s Hall participated in group shows at numerous locations including Lisa Kurts Gallery in Memphis, Chroma Gallery in Little Rock, the Russell Office Senate Building in Washington D.C. and various venues in Fayetteville. For the past six years Hall has been teaching Art at Elkins High School and pursuing her professional art career as time permits. Most recently, Hall participated with another artist, LaDawna Whiteside, in a show entitled “Sacred Structures” at the Arts Center of the Ozarks. At this time, Hall’s focus is on painting and mixed media projects that include wall pieces and functional art.
